On January 16th, some of Climb’s executive team travelled to New York to connect with other real estate professionals and discuss the technologies and strategies that were shaping the future of the industry at Inman Connect 2017. Co-founders Chris Lim and Mark Choey, along with top producers Christine Kim and Kenny Truong, took in a week of talks and product demonstrations and came away with some strong impressions about the direction real estate is headed.
No topic was more central than social media, which continues to offer agents and brokerages a multitude of new marketing and lead generation tools.
Going hand-in-hand with this was an emphasis on technology’s growing role in the sales process. The efficiency and insight that real estate technology platforms can offer is poised to rapidly supplant the traditional face-to-face networking and marketing that defined the industry in past years.
Perhaps the most exciting topic was the advent of big data as a method for highly refined customer targeting and interaction. This new approach to real estate will be critical to reaching the next generation of buyers: millennials.
